In the heart of war, a soldier’s camera captures the battlefield and the fighting spirit of the resistance. As the military Junta’s collapse looms, Kyeekan works to unify rebel groups at great personal cost. But one decisive mission remains.
Kyeekan, a former videographer turned resistance fighter, documents Myanmar’s war through his lens. His life was torn apart by the 2021 coup, losing his brother and one leg in an explosion. He believes that unity, and sustainability go hand in hand with the success of the revolution. Following a dangerous mission to defeat the military junta, Kyeekan is joined by Japanese filmmaker Toru Kubota, once a prisoner in Myanmar, exploring the profound cost of war and the hope for a future beyond conflict.
